Recently, Aeronyde had the opportunity to be among the very first startups to visit the IBM Watson Experience Center in San Francisco. We met with Watson representatives Angie Krackeler and Susannah Shattuck to learn more about the capabilities of Watson to facilitate Autonomous Aerial Vehicles and Emergency Response.

Aeronyde has been using Watson in a variety of capacities to make Aeronyde’s autonomous UAVs smarter and safer in the skies. We use the IBM Watson Cloud to perform real-time image, video, and data analysis, as well as processing flight conditions such as local weather.

We are excited by the possibilities to expand our use of Watson, and to facilitate machine learning with Artificial Intelligence in our UAVs. As Aeronyde continues to test and refine our UAV operations and our use of Watson, we look forward to keeping everyone informed on the development here.
